Resolutions for the New Year

Well it's that time of year again. It's so hard to believe another one has gone by.If you are like the majority you probably made a resolution last year that kind of fizzled out as the year went by. Believe me you are not alone.I honestly think if we approached our resolutions in a different way we might have more of a chance .

I found that one of the best things to do at the beginning of the year is to clean house. Not literally although that's a good idea too. Really look over your life. Material acquirements, friends, family etc. See which things truly play a positive role in it. Any relationships that are too much work should be avoided or left alone completely. Trust me life is too short. As far as anything material, clutter is something that usually happens when you're not paying attention. Look around. Do you feel overwhelmed by "stuff"? If you do keep the pieces that really resonate with you and either put the rest away or perhaps have a yard sale.

As far as clothing goes I read somewhere that in January you should turn all your hangars in the opposite direction. As you wear the item turn the hangar around. By the end of the year whatever hangars are still backwards means you haven't worn that item in a year. Time to get rid of it.

Well here's to all our resolutions being kept. Good Luck! Peace and Namaste!
