Standing Your Ground

The older I get the more I realize that approval isn't something anyone should truly care about. The only persons approval you need in life is your own. Everyone should surround themselves with others who are as drama free as possible.You only have one life,live it the way you want to.

I really try to be as kind as I can to everyone I encounter. Unfortunately many times that kindness is mistaken for weakness. That could not be more false. There is no weakness in trying to be a good person and helping others whenever you can.I also get sick and tired of people putting words in my mouth or accusing me of things that aren't even on my radar. Most times I don't even respond because honestly that is exactly what those who stir the pot are looking for.Silence really is Golden.

Take the advice someone just gave me. Surround yourself with those who love you....Everything else is excess baggage. Peace and Namaste!
